Pretty awesome and, except from the ranged attack thing that ducky has that may mess up my idea, the whole scenery, the SUPER SONIC DUCK SPEED and the fact that Vince hasn't really told us anything about dread ducky's mechanics other than water=bad cause u be slow in it, I don't think my prediction has been thrown all the way out the window. Pretty much: They're just duckies=Background track It's time to leave=Chase theme Rising terror=Escape theme. but THEN I thought about it some more and thought that "hey! maybe the new track 'rising terror' will be the escape theme!". UPDATE: A new music track was just released that seems to be for dread ducky's level as it uses the same sounds that the other ducky tracks and it definitely sounds like a background track which might throw my idea out of the window. Who knows maybe if they go for something else for dread ducky then this idea might be in a later chapter or DLC. However i think they might be going for a style where you don't know what duck is evil because in a gif the devs posted there are many dread duckies in the background (maybe its just a test of the duck's a.i. Can't think of any traps than that one but I think it's a solid idea. As for traps, I believe that there might be whirlpools scattered about the area that might cut off certain routes for you but dread ducky can float over. This whole idea would fit well with the soundtracks that have been released as the slower more strategic game play style that I've come up with would match perfectly with the slow almost peaceful track of "they're just duckies" that can be the ambience of the sewer that may mean that you need to be slower about what you're doing compared to something like the monkey business 'ambience' track that portrays a message of "keep running or die" and the bouncy and fast chase music of "it's time to leave" would once again be perfect when paired with the huge rubber duck with legs chasing you through a sewer. Featured: Ducky Doodles (Dark Deception Fanart) FawFul933. ![]() I think this would be a good idea to work with as the devs said something about it being hard to run in water and the fact that in the teaser for chapter 3 in-game you hear quacks echoing supposedly through the sewers. However, ducky would be hearing for you as well because if you started running he would know and would come to patrol around where you are. I think you will need to hear for his quacks and use the telepathy ability to somehow close a route that the dread ducky could float through to find you (maybe a gate? or a continuous gush of water from the wall pipes?) but only one could be blocked at one time. ![]() #Dark deception dread ducky fullI think that the duck (or multiply ducks) will be floating around the sewers, but once he sees you he will ran full speed at you with his legs but he would be faster the the player, pretty much being instant death if he sees you. ![]()
